What inspired her to join this field?
“I have always been fascinated by the calculations and planning that goes into every structureor project, and I deeply enjoy getting to be a part of that process."
What challenges has she faced, and how has she overcome them?
“I struggled throughout my first few years of school, and even ended up switching my major from Environmental Engineering to Civil, where I’ve now found my passion!”

What’s something she is proud of in her career?
“I’m extremely proud of every project I have been able to contribute to while working on an internship.”
What does being a Girl in Civil mean to her?
“To me, being a Girl in Civil means overcoming the imposter syndrome that can come along with being the only girl in your classes, workplace, etc.”
What advice does she give to others entering the field or those needing encouragement to stay?
“Try to channel the anxiety that comes with being a woman in engineering into something positive that helps you stand out, instead of letting it hold you back.”
