Mision & Vision
Help raise awareness about the gender gap, increase academic retention in civil engineering and related undergraduate programs, and promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) in civil works through our content. Whether it's engineering, education, construction, or other general industry topics, we are here to be a part of the construction world and make it more inclusive and accessible to minorities. As a group, we can empower each other and contribute to the professional development of women in the field.

Our vision is to promote DEIA in civil engineering and civil work-related professions that grow with empowered women and people as fundamental components of the workforce in hopes of using the profession as a tool for sustainable development to contribute to a more equitable society.
The specific objectives and purpose of Girls in Civil shall be:
Access to knowledge tools and resources for underserved peoples
Create a network of professionals
Make safe spaces of expression, opportunity, and interchange of ideas
Grow relationship ties with universities.
